Firsts

I can't wait a whole month to post this on her 6 month post so I had to go ahead me write tonight.

First off, Lola Cate cut her first tooth this weekend. She took it like a pro. Really didn't seem to bother her that I could tell. She has the bottom left front tooth. So right after turning 5 months she got her first tooth.
You can't really see the tooth well but it is there!!

Then tonight I was eating dinner with Lola next to me and she kept whining for food regardless of the fact she had just nursed not long before. So I said why not. Lola had her first food tonight, baby cereal. She loved it and she ate like a pro. She really would have eaten more if I had it. She probably had two tablespoons worth of baby cereal mixed with breast milk. I have a cute video but I can't upload videos on here anymore. So enjoy the pictures below. She was happy even though her face doesn't show it.
Very first bite. She thought the spoon was a toy.

There's a smile. She actually does like it despite what the pictures show. :) I'm looking forward to seeing how she reacts to cereal again tomorrow night.

5 months old

Our baby is growing up! Lola Cate is five months old! Lola is the happiest thing! She makes us all smile. My favorite thing is when she stares the boys down just waiting for them to look at her and then she gives them her best smile just to grab their attention so they will talk to her. She loves them and they love her!
Fun 5 months stats:
She is rolling over!! She rolls from her back to her front and even rolls over sometimes in her crib.
She loves to coo and talk to us.
Loves her fingers...no pacifiers for her!
She enjoys her walker at Anny's house and is pushing backwards in it.
Lola Cate sleeps from 8:00-9:00 typically 13 hours!!! She is definitely our best sleeper.
Lola takes typically one good nap a day. That nap is usually between 2 and 3 hours long. Then she will take cat naps off and on.
She poops about every three days and has yucky smelling gas leading up to those poops.
She is still exclusively breast fed. We will start cereal before she turns 6 months. When she takes bottles at Anny's house she takes around 5 ounces.
She is in size 2 diapers. Size 6-9 month clothing.
My girl like to hum when she is nursing. And she also like to rub my with her free hand or play with my clothes/jewelry.
She likes bath time but doesn't splash yet. Beau loves her bath time also and he tries to get in her tiny bath tub with her.
Lola Catherine was baptized last weekend. It was beautiful.
Lola Cate loves Cowboy. Cowboy was lukes most favorite baby toy. It went everywhere with us. Henry and beau didn't care for him so I'm glad Lola has shown some favoritism towards him.
Lola is with Gail and Phil during the day now while I'm at work so we soak up every bit of snuggle time on the weekends.
She is reaching and grasping toys so well now and has started attempting to grab my food. I think she's starting to notice and the want food we eat. So we are closer and closer to cereal.
She has been so much fun yet so different from the boys. She is still so girly in the way she talks and interacts with you. I love it!
Wearing a dress my mother made for Rachael when she was a babe. The dress (and Lola Cate) is beautiful!

With her pictures this time it was a battle to keep her baby out of her mouth. :)

Lola Cate and Cowboy.

Back sleeping. And tummy sleeping these days.

She is typically on her tummy when she wakes.

Baptism

Beautiful Lola Cate and Eleanor were baptized today! We are very thankful for the family that was able to come help us celebrate. Lola Cate's God Mom is my Aunt Aggie. And Eleanor's God parents are my parents. It was a great day!
My mom, of course, made the beautiful gowns and bonnets. 😍

Deacon Bob did the baptism. He also did Henry's baptism.

Precious baby.

Levis

First pair of Levi's. Thanks for the hand me downs Eleanor!

4 months

Lola Cate is 4 months old!
She is 16.9 pounds (84th %) and 26 inches long (95th%).
She is the best baby. Lola Cate sleeps through the night. Typically she goes to sleep around 9:00 and sleeps until 9:00. Occasionally she wakes around 5:30 to eat but I'd say maybe once a week for that.
She just discovered her feet and now loves to hold them while sitting and laying.
She is verbal and loves to talk to you when you talk back to her. She lights up any time one of her brothers is around and interacting with her. I think she already has them wrapped around her little fingers. They will literally stop what they are doing to talk to her.
She is using her hands a lot-reaching, grabbing, etc.
She is in size 2 diapers, 6-9 month clothes,
I'm at work now so she is with Anny all day. She takes up to 4 oz in s bottle at a time. About 24 oz all day. In the next month or two we will begin introducing food.
We are looking forward to her baptism coming up next weekend!
She is so close to rolling over!

Loves her crib.
Nursing her lip. It's so cute and funny!
Just practicing sitting up in her high chair.

K2

Beau is off to school! He has had two great days! Better then what I expected. He is exhausted, as expected. But he seems happy and was excited to go back the second day.  I'm proud of him! In addition to school he will have three therapist that service him there. Lisa, speech, Megan, OT and Megan S. his early interventionist. I'm looking forward to him having a great year with Mrs. Joanne and Mrs. Amanda as his teachers and Mrs. Lisa as his afternoon teacher. So far his favorite part is the gym and playing ball! He also likes the bunny rabbit called Bugsby in his classroom.
Day one
No worries, I took the screw and screw driver away.
He loves his back pack.

Day two. He showed me where to go.
