Note to self

Beau was diagnosed with his first ear infection yesterday. Poor guy. He has had congestion and cough without fever for a couple of weeks. He has done so well we had no idea that his ears were infected. Mommy guilt big time. Dr. Song prescribed him amoxicillin.

Playing with big brother.

Ice Skating

I'm We had a spontaneous decision the other day to take the kids ice skating while downtown. At first neither would do it. But after watching Thomas try and try his best to skate they both worked up the courage to do it. As expected, Luke picked it up within five minutes and was indecently skating and cruising the side rails. Henry timidly paced him round and round the edge of the rink. And he was very pleased to be doing just that. Both boys were very proud of themselves. We made promises to take the to the local info or skating rink soon. Surprisingly neither were sore the next day, not even Thomas.

Luke ready to get started.

Beau was not impressed.

Henry ready to get started.

Bless his heart. He was actually crying here. Neither boy liked the assistance of the blue things. He took a long break after this.

Thomas wondering what in the world he has gotten into.

The tongue was very busy.

Holding on tight. About to cross through the doorway to the other side.

Watching the periodic ice repairs.

Awake and playing peep-eye.

Happy New Year 2015!

Times have definitely changed. Thomas and I didn't even discuss "going out" for New Year's Eve. The only discussion was wether or not we were going to make it to see the ball drop in tv. Well, big news, we didn't make it. We were both up but with our two youngest who weren't too happy about the firework celebrations going on in the streets outside. Oh well. Maybe next year.

By far the best of 2014 was our newest addition to our family. I can't imagine life without him and I know his brothers sure enjoy him. (And daddy too of course) looking forward to our new year and all the happiness it brings. Happy New Year!

(Fun tidbit: the heart glasses are from my parents when Thomas and I got engaged and the other glasses are from our hospital stay with Beau)

Cheers!

Henry loved his sparkling grape juice a bit much...we may have some trouble in the future. :)
