Last week pic

I had to post this picture so I can remember exactly how big I was carrying my sweet Beau.  This was Tuesday before I went into labor (Friday). My last day of work was Wednesday. Thankfully I was mostly belly with Beau. 

Let's do this

I am so ready to meet this little, big guy that is all squishy in my tummy. We have two weeks til D Day but as of my last appointment (Thursday the 6th) I am measuring 40+ weeks. I have been measuring 2 1/2 weeks ahead for a while. So Doctor Troutman ordered another ultra sound for this coming Thursday.  I'm excited I get to see him again and see how big he is now. I'm guessing we are pushing 9 pounds. Big babies are normal for me so they aren't concerned. We are just excited about meeting him. My last day at work, with or without him here, is February 21. Almost have everything ready. Our house is ready, work, not quite. I'll get there. Soon. 

Mommy and Beau's bags. Just grab and go. And daddy has his bags in his car just incase he is at work when the action starts. Note to anyone who may have to get my bags for me, the list on top is stuff to grab last minute. And this is on his dresser for my big boys. 

36 and 4

The doctor says I'm looking great. Almost three weeks past our ultra sound that showed Baby Beau weighing 6 lbs 12 oz.  I can't help but wonder how big he is now. They say at this point babies should grow about 1/2 a pound a week. So that would push Beau over the 8 pound mark. We are all growing more and more excited to meet him. Just a little over 3 weeks to go and I'm down to weekly appointments. Almost everything is ready.

(Missing a few)

I work with some of the best girls. For a third time they gave me a shower. This time in honor of baby #3. I am so grateful to work with such a fun caring group. 

Girls

Our much awaited girls weekend has come and gone. A weekend if pjs and fires. Resting and sleeping in. Friendship, catching up and gift giving. We all look forward to it. This was our 2nd annual and we hope it continues. 

26 weeks

Southern ground

Thomas and I never do this, we went away. Alone. For a whole night. No kids. Out of town!  Thanks to Anny for taking on the boys and to one of my besties for letting Thomas and I crash at their place and for letting us sleep in!

We went to the Southern Ground Country Food and Music Festival. It was great. Even if we did have to sit through the rain. Our favorite headliners were Willie Nelson, Natalie Maines and Zac Brown Band. It was nice to do things on our time, not kid time and to enjoy a little time alone. 

My three sons

Its official. We are having another boy! We are very excited and cannot wait to meet him in February. My three beautiful boys. 

This is how we told our family that couldn't be with us. I texted them and said either open the yellow or green bag...

And this is how we told Luke and Henry.

Luke was a little broken hearted. But he has accepted that he isn't getting a baby girl and is now excited about a boy. 

Excited

Told the boys tonight, our exciting news. 

Henry's response, he started laughing. 

Luke is very excited. He is ready. Luke's response, he wants a girl baby bc "I like girl babies". I said Luke that's why mommy has been so tired and he looked at me and said very seriously, "well I  could help you carry her momma". He also said later that since "she" can't walk good he would help her walk. Luke also asked why Thomas doesn't have a baby in his stomach. ;)

I am sure we will have more questions to come about this topic. 

4+1=5

That's right! Family of five coming in February! We find out September 30th if it will be a girl or a boy!
