Tomorrow will be Luke's birthday! After the doctor visit today, they decided that tomorrow is a good day to enduce me! He will be 9 days early but we are sure he will be healthy! We cannot wait to finally meet our son.

New stuff in Luke's room

Each time I looked in Luke's room I kept feeling like something was missing and I knew it wasn't finished. Mom and Rachael stayed busy in there on Friday trying to get things organized and purchasing last minute items. One thing they came home with was a book shelf; something we really needed for the books Thomas and I have been collecting for Luke. Thomas and I found a lamp to finish it off. The bookself and lamp make the biggest difference! It looks and feels so much better!

Last Day of Work

Its official, tomorrow is my last day of work. At our doctor appointment today my blood pressure was still high and I am still retaining too much fluid. We are 2 weeks and 6 days away from delivery. Now, I will just sit and wait for our little boy to join our family. Anything that it takes!

These fat feet and a raised blood pressure have me in the bed and on the couch after work every day this week. If things don't improve by Monday at my next check-up, I will be on bed rest for good. Keeping our fingers crossed! Still 3 1/2 weeks to go until due date.

Luke's room

I found the bedding for Luke's room after a long online search. Pottery Barn had just what I was looking for-whales. Here are some pictures of his room so far but the pictures don't do it justice. It is much cuter in person . . . so come visit!

pregnancy stages

I am trying to play catch up as I create this blog in my 8th month. Here are some pictures of how my belly has developed over the past few months.

4 1/2 months pregnant-not much to look at but there is definately a baby bump.

5 1/2 months pregnant-a little more round

6 1/2 months pregnant-no doubt about it. . . definately pregnant

7 1/2 months pregnant-wow, and we still have time to grow! Looks like I need to visit the tanning bed also!

8 1/2 months pregnant-can I really get any bigger? still 6 weeks to go!

9 1/2 months pregnant! only 13 days to go until our due date. I wonder if we will make it!

October was a busy month for us... we had our first, second, and third baby shower for Luke. Our first shower was at my sister Rachael's house; the shower was given to us by Rachael, Chris, Christian, Jenny, Patrick and Natalie. We had a blast and so did everyone else there.
