As we left Greenville for our last Christmas stop ,in Aiken, it began to snow! So we had a white Christmas, sort of. The whole family was at mom and dad's when we arrived and we began the last part of our busy day! Lots more presents of couse, but I forgot to take pictures. However I did take one picture of Luke and mom carrying around the loudest reindeer around town! (and Luke eating one of many tootsie roll pops) The day after Christmas, it snowed in Aiken! Luke had so much fun playing in the snow with everyone! Someone taught him how to make and throw snow balls so look out!
This was Luke's 3rd Christmas but by far the most exciting! He understood things so much more this year and it made Christmas super fun! This are a few pictures of Christmas morning at our house! He was so excited when he walked into the living room! He kept saying "wow"! I can't wait for next year!
Luke spent the day with Uncle Chris and RayRay yesterday! He had a great time and they kept him busy! One of their activities was making a gingerbread house! Here are the pictures from thier adventure... Does the candy go on the house or in my mouth? A little for the house a little for me! And the finished product...I think they did pretty good! And I know they had fun!!
This video was taken as we were driving through part of the holiday lights. (blog post below) Luke's reactions were so cute I wanted to remember that sweet voice! You can't see Luke but you can see the lights as we pass.
We celebrated Luke's 2nd birthday this past weekend! We cannot believe that our baby is 2! Thank you to all of our family for your generosity and helping us celebrate Luke's birthday!
It is rare these days to find my child sitting still. This afternoon, he sat for atleast 20 minutes just looking at books! I couldn't believe it!

We had an unexpected trip to see Santa this weekend! We went to the mall to do some Christmas shopping. While standing outside Belk, Santa walked by. (coming back from break) Luke was star struck! Since he was just returning from break, there was a short line...so we took advantage of it! Of course the shirt he was wearing was smeared with his snack so I ran into Belk to get a new shirt while Thomas stood in line with Luke. When it was our turn Luke did not want to sit with Santa. He cried and cried, which was expected. So Santa suggested we sit with him too. If Thomas and I would have known we were going to be taking family pictures today, we would have dressed a little better! Good memories! (This is a picture of a picture so it isn't good quality)
We went to one of the smaller airports this past weekend to checkout the airplanes landing. Unfortunatley we went too early and didn't see any in the sky. But we did walk to see one and he was so excited to be so close to a real airplane! We will try again another weekend.
I love Christmas, especially all the decor that comes with it! I can't wait until the day after Thanksgiving when we can get our tree and begin decorating! We started early this year with something for Luke...he loves it!! Thanks Anny!
