Beau is four months old! He is such a good baby. We are very lucky. And the big brothers are still doing great. They love to hold him and talk to him. They like to be the first ones to greet him in his crib in the morning now that we are on summer break. At his check up today we learned his stats.
Weight: 18.06 pounds 92%
Height: 26 inches 88%
In comparison to his brothers at 4 months, Luke was half an inch longer but half a pound lighter. Henry was also 26 inches but half a pound heavier. My expectations were that he would be bigger then both boys but he isn't. So we will see how he continues to grow.
Fun facts at 4 months
We started cereal. I think he likes it, maybe. Doesn't quite get the swallowing thing because I don't think he understands that it's food I'm putting in. The big bros can't wait til I let them feed him. We start veggies in a week.
He sleeps great through the night. Most nights he is in bed by 9:00 and wakes around 7:30/8:00 now that we are home for the summer. It feels great letting him sleep til he wakes on his own instead of having to wake him up to leave the house.
He wakes up happy and talking.
He wants to sit up or stand all the time. He likes to see his big brothers all the time. They are his entertainment.
Size 3 diapers, 6-9 month clothing, 6 oz bottles. And we've started the vitamin D supplement daily.
Naps aren't great. Poor kid gets shuffled all over town with activities for the family. But he is happy in the car and that's when he gets his good cat naps in. Occasionally I can get a good nap out of him in the afternoons in his crib, but not often. He has 2 loud and full of energy brothers.
He likes his jumper. Like Luke did.
He is beginning to hold objects. And reach for things.
Very content being outside.
He is teething. Drool and chewing all the time.
Sleeping on mommies legs.
Hands! He loves to talk to and hold his own hands. It's really cute! He is actually reaching for his foot here. He is very intrigued by his feet.
Morning brotherly love.
Standing.
Sleeping. I think this May be a favorite blanket in the future. It's a handme down from Henry.
Cereal!
