Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was so much fun! Luke really enjoyed it this year! Anny and Papa came over first thing in the morning and Rachael, Chris, Adaline, Mom and Dad joined us for late lunch Christmas afternoon. We enjoyed ourselves and the day passed very quickly! I am already looking forward to next year when Luke will be 4 and Henry will be 18months!

Gingerbread ChooChoo

Last year Luke made a gingerbread house with Rachael and Chris at their house...this year we invited Rachael and Adaline over to make a gingerbread choochoo! Maybe it will be a new holiday tradition for us!

Aiken HOHO

Last year we could barely get Luke to touch HoHo in Aiken on mom and dad's front steps...this year we got a little better with a picture! (not alone though)

6 months and 2 teeth!

Henry is 6 months! Hard to believe he is already 1/2 a year old! At 6 months, Henry can roll over front to back and back to front but sometimes gets stuck on his arm. He still tends to roll over during sleep but is more content with it now. He has two teeth (bottom). He continues to be so so happy and loves laughing at his big brother. He will reach now for someone with two hands. He has one veggie and one fruit (stage 2) twice a day. And he still doesn't sleep through the night!

We had his 6 month check up today as well as Luke's 3 year old check up.
Henry:
28.5 inches (98.57 percentile)
21.16 lbs (95.96 percentile)

Luke:
38.5 inches (76.42 percentile-thats the lowest percentile Luke has ever been!)
37.4 lbs (92.44 percentile)

Sitting up

Henry has been practicing sitting up a lot lately. Everytime I put him down he tries to pull himself up to a sitting position. Here he is sitting up in the bath tub just as happy as can be!

Looks like Santa may have a couple of extra helpers this year...

Hollywild

We went to Hollywild last night which is a zoo of sorts for animals that have been featured in movies or commercials. But at Christmas time they do a huge drive through lights show and reindeer feeding. This year in addition to feeding reindeer, we also feed HUGE cows! The reindeer weren't very hungry but the cows were! I wish I had a picture of how large they were! They were not bashful either-stuck their entire heads into your car and ate out of our hands! Luke was very intimidated by them but still enjoyed seeing them up close and personal! He got to ride in my lap in the front seat through the exhibit and loved it!

It's a dog!

Since we celebrated Luke's birthday not on his birthday i really wanted to do something special on his birthday. So we took him to build a bear for the first time! After going over the many choices several times, he choose a dog. Meet Scout!

I think the computer was his favorite part because he got to push the buttons!

Happy Birthday Luke!

Luke is 3 today! We had a great family celebration this weekend! Thanks to all our family members that were able to come! Every year birthdays get even more fun! He was so proud of his birthday cake! And LOVES all his gifts!

BFF

Thomas best friends, Richard, got to see Henry over Thanksgiving! Of course Henry just ate up the attention. This is Richard and his brother Byron with Henry.

Christmas Tree Shopping

We got our tree this weekend! At Lowes of course! There was the friendliest sales man there willing to take our picture too! And we barely got a picture of Luke with "HOHO" ...he runs quickly!

After about 3 tries, Thomas finally was able to push the botton fast enough to catch Luke in the picture.
