First bath and hearing test

I am very thankful that our hospital has now adopted a more family friendly environment. Now they do the first bath and hearing test, etc in the room with the family. With Luke I missed all of this because I couldn't walk to the nursery. So I was very happy to be able to enjoy Henry's first bath and observe his hearing test.

We went out for our first neighborhood walk yesterday. Luke pushed his stroller and I pushed my stroller.

The Grands

Henry Thomas Osborne

We welcomed Henry Thomas Osborne into our family on June 16, 2011, a week past his due date! He was 9lbs 15oz. and 21 1/4 inches long! (that's 1oz. away from a 10 pounder!!) He is a beautiful baby and is sleeping wonderfully! Luke is slowly adjusting to our new family member. I have so many pictures to share of our boys but just can't tear myself away from them to upload them all. Here is a sneak peek. Hope to post more soon!

It's here!

Finally after a week of waiting for Henry to come on his own, we will be induced tomorow morning (unless he comes tonight). I will be 41 weeks! I will post an update and pictures as soon as I am able! We are so excited to meet the newest addition to our family!

It's a girl!

Rachael and Chris are having a girl in November! Everyone is so excited to welcome a girl into the family! She will be spoiled!!!

Snow cones are our summer treat! I think we keep the place in business! Tonight Luke choose a blue rasberry...and it shows!

Update

Friday I had my last dr appointment. I was 3cm but no contractions. If I do not go into labor between Friday and Thursday, we have an induction scheduled for Thursday morning. I will be 41 weeks Thursday. So this weekend we have been walking and eating spicy food trying to encourage Henry to make his appearance! Here are pictures of one of our walking outtings at a local pond.



Luke really wanted to pet a duck but wasn't fast enough so Thomas caught a duck for him! Major brownie points for daddy!


A downward hill and the cyclist behind Luke inspired him to use the pedals for the first time! He was so proud of himself!

Due Date

Today is my offical due date! I have said it before but I have to say it again...noone expected me to make it this long! I have a "check" up in the morning and hoping, once again, to find out some good news. One of my best friends is getting married on Saturday, I was supposed to be in the wedding...sure would be cool if Henry and Jaimie shared their special day! :)

40 weeks pregnant


Uh Oh, we have a problem. Luke can get in and out of Henry's crib by himself!

Monkey Joes

I have been trying to make the most of the last few days of Luke being an only child! Yesterday we went to Monkey Joes to enjoy their indoor bouncy houses! We had a blast. This time the majority of the children there were Luke's age so he was able to play on everything! (not just the ones for 3 and under). His favorite continues to be the huge slide! It is a long climb up but a quick slide down!

I made videos of this but I cannot get them to upload through blogger. I was able to get them dowloaded to tinypic but they won't transfer to my blog. Any bloggers have suggestions on uploading videos?

Night Night

Lately Luke has been so sweet when going to bed at nap time and night time. He says his good nights to everyone on his list. He always starts with "night momma" then goes down the list, night daddy, night Harley, night Reggie, night Eddie then depending on the activities of the day and who we saw that day he continues..."night RaRa, night Chris, night Anny, night Papa, night GG, night YooHoo, etc. It always melts my heart! You are one of the lucky ones if you make the good night list!

I made the mistake today of asking Luke to feed the cats...

He did a great job until he took the lid off the container. If he would have only stopped when the bowl was full...

39 plus 1

My doctor appointment went fine this morning. They just said see you next week (I will be 40 weeks and one day) and they will "check" me. I told her I hope I see her at the hospital before then! :)

Done

I have finally made it through the end of the school year! I am 39 weeks pregnant and the last day of school was today! Noone expected me to make it this long, including myself! So now we are just waiting on Henry to arrive. I have my 39 week checkup tomorrow morning so I am hoping there will be some good news. Will keep you posted! Thomas and I are ready!
