Baby Jesus hasn't arrived yet! Thanks for all of our Christmas cards! Our Tree this year. Notice that there are no ornaments on the bottom of the tree. There were...then Luke found them. Sorry Uncle Patrick, but your gift no longer has a bow. Christmas Ducks-one of my favorite decorations. Thanks Amy! our mantle-notice the fallen tree on the right. Luke had just done that when i snapped the picture. The tree back up again. Our stockings! There are three for the 2nd year in a row! My glitter poinsetta. I love the glitter but you can't really see it in this picture.
Luke is WALKING!!! Didn't expect that to happen this week but he can take up to 6 or 7 steps now. This video doesn't really show off his talents...I will work on getting a better one this weekend!
We are so excited to announce that our little brother Patrick is getting married! We are looking forward to Natalie joining our family she already fits in so well! We love you guys and look forward to the upcoming festivities! These pictures are from the night they got engaged! Congratulations!
A year ago yesterday Luke was born! It is so hard to believe that he is already one! We had a small gathering with family and a few friends. Thanks to everyone who helped with our party and came to celebrate with us!We are so thankful for our friends and family! Here are some pictures from our fun time!
Luke surprised us tonight with another tooth. He has been getting up at night which is unusual for him and today he had a little extra drool so I decided to take a peek inside his mouth. To my surprise, he has his first molar on the bottom right and it is almost all the way through! I can't believe it! So to date, Luke has four central incisors, four lateral incisors, and one first molar! Nine teeth! So he went to bed with tylenol and oragel tonight! Let's hope for a full nights sleep for mommy and baby!
You got it! We went to Moes for dinner tonight and worked it around Luke's dinner schedule so he could eat with us there. We ordered him a cheese quesadilla and he loved it! (until he pulled it onto the floor on accident) But he did manage to eat 3/4 of it before it hit the floor. And to top it all off, we started whole milk tonight. He drank 6oz. of milk with out hesitation. Hope this means we won't have a transition period from formula to milk. We will try more milk tomorrow. Only 6 days until his birthday!
We had a great time in Aiken for a long Thanksgiving weekend. Luke actually ate some of our Thanksgiving meal and enjoyed it. Here are a few pictures from our time in Aiken. Mom introduced Luke to some new toys to play with in the kitchen. He thought he was hot stuff when he made noises with the wooden spoon and pot. Thomas took a little nap after eating his big meal. Looks comfy huh. Playing with Grandpa Jimmy. Luke kept putting his pacifier in dad's mouth and he thought it was so funny. Showing off his new bib from my friend Lynne. Thanks Lynne! Mommy knows all the ticklish spots. Probably the best family photo we have taken in a while. And EVERYONE was there for it! Uncle and God Father Patrick.
