Cup of joe

Had a freebie coupon and usually I spend these on someone else but this time I decided to make something for me! So when I am sipping my morning cup of joe, I can see Luke with my right hand and Henry with my left. They are both laughing in this picture, what a great way to start my day!

Cooties

Luke has cooties. So why not play cooties!! Luke has been sick with a yucky stomach bug since Friday so we have been trying to keep it easy around here. I remember playing this game when I was a kid so it was fun to play again.

20 months old

Believe it or not but this cute guy turned 20 months old yesterday! I can not believe it! Only 4 months and he will be two! He has been talking so much lately. He copies so much of what we say and it catches me off guard! Never a dull moment with this fellow!

The Perfect Snow

Yesterday we got the perfect snow. It came in the afternoon, snowed hard for a couple of hours and stopped before the sun went down. We had just enough time to enjoy the snow and the roads cleared before the day's end and we still enjoyed some of its beauty today. The perfect snow. This was also Henry's first snow! He wasn't so sure what to think of it but mostly because he didn't like being bundle up in his snow suit (which Luke wore two years ago). Oh yes, I tried to put gloves on him several times but he refused them and kept pulling them off.

Can you tell Eddie enjoyed the snow too, brings the puppy out in him!

Working at the car wash...

Not Henry. He is terrified of the car wash! But so cute at the same time. He watched every move and when we left he said "All done!" Thank goodness I know he was thinking!

Happy Valentines Day!

It's all about the kids these days. We surprised them with a basket each full of goodies, books, cowboy hats, candy, etc. Henry could've cared less about the basket but when we walked in from the gym and he saw the two balloons tied on top he screamed in excitement and ran to them. And Luke loves his cowboy hat! Next year, balloons and cowboy hats!

Luke's valentine party

Today Luke had his valentines party at school. Luckily I was able to take time off to attend the party and supply a game for his class to play. Henry and I had fun as guest in his room. I finally got to meet his friends and see his classroom, so important to me.

Ash Wednesday

Today is Ash Wednesday. We have made it to Ash Wednesday service every year since Luke was born. Everybody gets ashes. This year service was at 7:00 which is late for us but we did it. Both boys crashed as soon as we got home, Luke, still in his church clothes, Henry made it into his pjs. So I don't have a picture of the boys to post but I do have one of Thomas and I! Happy Lent!

Big wheels

Y'all know Luke got a bike for Christmas. Well Thomas just got a new bike this weekend. So we had to try it out! Luke was so excited that daddy got his own bike too. We all went to The Swamp Rabbit trail today to try out the bikes. Henry and I walked behind them but we still enjoyed seeing the big boys having fun on their bikes. Luke is doing so well learning how to ride! Now momma and Henry need bikes!
