Henry's first haircut

We finally did it, we cut Henry's hair. He looks so handsome but were did my baby go? I miss him already! Here are some before, during and after. Some of the during pictures are a little hard to look at! :)

Daddy is away we will play!

Thomas got to go to Bristol with a group from his work so the boys and I went on adventures of our own on Saturday. Our first stop was to George the train and then we went to Furman to feed the many turtles, fish, ducks and geese and swan. And Luke climbed a tree which is a treat because all of our trees are not climb able. And if you asked the boys what the best part of our trip was I bet they would tell you the two golf carts the workers were riding around in on the Furman campus.

Butterflies

This summer we ordered caterpillars and we enjoyed watching them change into butterflies. Tonight we decided it was time to let them go. One of them let Luke "hold" it and then stayed close by in our trees. Luke enjoyed this learning experience and Henry even did too!

Zoo

This past Wednesday was my last day home with the kids. So we decided to go to the zoo to celebrate our fun summer! We packed a picnic and off we went! I think this was Henry's first time to Greenville zoo.

We met Luke's teacher today! She came to the house for a home visit! We like her! Her name is Mrs. Craig. I hate that I didn't take a picture of them together. There are 6 boys and 2 girls in his class! We took Anny out to lunch and ice cream afterwards. I am looking forward to this year because there will be more of an academic focus as well as celebrations for the holidays (including mothers day) and some events that we will get to go to at school! He is growing up!

Haircut

We have been debating over when to cut Henry's hair. Some days I want to and others I don't. It gets in his eyes. So we decided tonight just to trim his bangs. He looks so much older! I don't like it. I want my baby back.

We finally made it to the water park today! We had so much fun! Everyone is worn put which in this momma's eyes = a good time! The park requires all children under 42 inches to wear a life jacket or puddle jumper which they provide. I liked that. It gave Luke more confidence in the water but Henry hated it. Bc of his size he had to wear the full life jacket. It hit right under his chin and he was uncomfortable especially in the water. Otherwise, we had fun. The orange slide on the pics below, Luke went down twice by himself! I am so proud!
