(Backup) Lola Cate's birthday party

I cannot believe I forgot to make a post on Lola Cate's first birthday party!

She had an adorable bunny themed birthday party that I had so much fun decorating for. I have a love of bunny rabbits so this was perfect for me. Also, her birthday was a week before Easter this year so she didn't have her first Easter until after her birthday. 

 

She is so girly and we love it!

The birthday party

We celebrated Beau's birthday with friends and family this past weekend. We had a joint birthday party with the soon to be 1 year old cousin Eli. We are so lucky to have their birthday's so close together. You can tell our lives have changed because there were as many children invited as adults. Thankfully The Angels have a great party house that provided great space indoors and outdoors for everyone to enjoy themselves. And the weather cooperated, we had watched all week for this because it had snowed so much the week before. Rachael and I had a great time planning this and decorating. That's part of the fun! :) Thank you to all who made the trip to join us in celebrating our boys' birthdays. We had a great time!

 Cake time. Eli did pretty good. He enjoyed his. Beau however, didn't like his. He gagged on the icing. Which surprised me because on his actual birthday we did cake from Publix and he loved it!!

Beau is one! The sweetest happiest baby. He is so in love with his big brothers. What a joy this past year has been. I can't believe he has already been with us for a year...but then again it feels like he has always been with us. We are so thankful for our third beautiful boy. (As well as all three!)

At one year old Beau...

does not walk, but he can stand not so gracefully by himself. 

Crawls at an amazing speed.

Wears size 4 diapers. 

Eats many things but not as much of a variety as I would like. 

Loves bananas, grapes, graham crackers, fruit bars, raisin bread, muffins, and many other things but nothing terribly healthy. 😁

Wears size 18-24 months. 

Has an amazing smile that makes his eyes twinkle. And his laugh is so sweet. 

He naps twice daily. 

Sleeps almost through the night. He typically gets up once and takes a paci. 

Loves to snuggle. 

Cannot roll over. He will lie flat on his back until someone picks him up. But he tries to sit straight up. 

Weighs 26.5 pounds (97%)

Is 31 inches long (86%)

Has had 3 ear infection since January. (One with a burst ear drum) We have ENT next week. 

Says Mama, Dada and Papa. He also says Daaaaaaa, I think he is calling Luke and Henry that. 

We are looking forward to having a joint birthday party with cousin Eli this weekend. Until then, here are some pictures of my boy.

Yes, Henry is one!!! He turned one on June 16th. We celebrated with family at our house and had a nice time. I have a ton of pictures to share from his party but some of the pictures aren't cooperating. Hopefully I can figure this out soon and share more pics. For now, here is a taste of our fun! Sorry it took so long!
