1st

Luke's teacher loves him as much as we do. And since she is also a friend of mine she understands how hard it is not being able to see him and check on him through the day. Today she texted me a picture at recess. Made my morning!
Thanks Mrs. Laskis!

Then I caught him next door at the computer lab, not following directions yesterday. 😉

Luke's teeth

I'm This kid had been through the ringer today. He had three more teeth extracted because they were blocking the way from the new ones. Everything was too crowded. So. He had three removed and will soon have a new spacer put in to help hold the space for the new ones to come. We adore our dentist. I cannot say that enough. Luke had some trouble tonight with bleeding and she drive 45 minutes back to the office just to see him.

His classmates made him get well cards after he missed two days of school. He was so pleased to get them.

Sleeping

This. It happens all the time. Yes, he is asleep sitting up.

First hair cut

Today Beau is 18 months. Today Beau got his first hair cut. We used our trusted Alex that the big boys and Thomas see regularly. She had watched Beau grow since he was in my tummy. So we were excited she could cut his hair along with the big brothers. Of course she did it just right, not cutting off too much and still allowing him to look like my baby. He did pretty good. Sat in the chair with me close by. I believe he will enjoy hair cuts like Luke and Henry do once he learns to trust her.

That's Alex cutting Henry's hair.

After

18 month checkup

Beau had his 18 month well check today. He has grown, of course, and continues to stay in the 99th percentile. He weighed 31.11 pounds and is 34.5 inches tall. Still a big boy. Only concern at this point is speech development. He doesn't have enough words for his age. We are to continue to aid and support his speech development and if there isn't significant improvement before his 2 year old well check then Dr. Song recommended contacting babynet for an evaluation. Luke was also delayed with his verbal skills but picked up quickly with exposure. Because of sibling history being similar she wasn't concerned.

Note to self, Dr. Song heard a "flow" murmur today. Also this July when beau went in with a fever Dr. Mathias heard a heart murmur. No need for alarm. Both are normal for his age. Just taking note.

His new obsession.
Just reading the Bible in the waiting room.
Playing.

Mirror, mirror on the wall....

...Who is the cutest Beau of all?
Notices himself in the mirror.
Beginning to realize it's a reflection.
Oh hey Beau.

4k

I'm Henry can't wait to be at my big school.  But for now he will settle for 4k at Simpsonville first baptist CDC. He is happy there and likes his new teacher Mrs Shannon and assistant Mrs. Kathy. He enjoys being with his friends and I get the feeling he enjoys school in general.

My Henry is such a big boy. He managed to grow out of most of his clothes this summer and can now wear most of Luke's clothes. The two are built completely different. Henry will probably always be big and could very possibly eventually be bigger then Luke.
The pictures below are from Henry's second day of school.
In a hurry to get in there, he was excited.

Sign in the hallway.

First grade

Luke began first grade this week. He was proud and excited to be on the opposite side of the school than me. I was a worried mess on the first day not knowing if he arrived in his classroom safely since he wouldn't allow me to walk him. I only sent three different people to check on him. 😏
His teacher is Mrs. Laskis. She is such a sweet person and a friend of mine. Just the right mix of friendly and structure that Luke needs. I'm excited for him to have a great year!
Before school

Walking in. (Carrying a box for me)
Leaving my classroom all alone. (My students were arriving also)
Gift for the teacher.
Lunch time. Obviously he didn't want his picture taken.
First day done. Thumbs up for a great day!! So proud of him.

Driving Miss Daisy...

Driving Mrs. Anny.

Piano boys

Downtown splash pad

We tagged along with Rachael and Sara to the down town splash pad. It was really cute and fun.  Hot. But fun. We enjoyed a picnic under the bridge as well.

Adaline and Reagan

Took a bit for Beau to warm up to it but he did like it.
