Sweet Boy

On his way out of school yesterday Luke passed some flowers and told Anny that he wanted to pick them for mommy b/c mommy likes flowers. He was so proud of himself when I came home from work and he got to show me his surprise for me! Such a sweet boy when he wants to be...even if he wasn't allowed to pick the flowers!

Boo-Hoo Spring

Spring is here (officially tomorrow) but with warmer weather comes shorts and with shorts comes skinned knees. We had our first one tonight! Luke got a pretty good one and also got his elbow while playing in the driveway.

9 months old

Henry turned 9 months on the 16th. He is wearing 12 and 18 month clothing! He can pull up, and is beginning crawling but he prefers to walk everywhere while holding your fingers. Sometimes he feels comfortable side steping while holding on and will occasionally take off with Lukes old walker. Luke didn't walk until 13 months but I think Henry will definately walk sooner! Usually he refuses to get in his walker and will cry when you make him stop walking with assistance. He doesn't have much interest in crawling. He is eating 3 meals a day and has about 3 bottles a day. He loves graham crackers and other crackers but is very picky about the textures of his food. I have been trying to move him to stage 3 but most of the textures are chunky and he gags on these! He has 6 teeth, 4 bottom and 2 top (he has 2 that will come through very soon on top too). I can't wait to take him for his 9 month check up on the 2nd of april to see how he has grown!

Henry's first mall visit with Anny

Anny and Henry ventured to the mall today for a little shopping while Luke was at school! Henry got some play time an Anny got some shopping time! He loved it!

The Lorax

We had family movie night for my kindergarten grade level today! We all went to see The Lorax. I took Luke with me for his very first movie experience! He loved it! Of course I was afraid we would end up havingto leave in the middle of the movie but at the end he asked if it was time to go home and I said yes and he looked at me and said "No!". He did not want to leave-I know you can't tell by the 2nd picture. (my entire grade level was standing there and he became shy all of a sudden, turing his head)


His favorite part of the movie... "the big TV mommy!" His eyes are glued to it in the picture below!

Today is a special day!

Today is a special day b/c today is the day my beautiful sister and best friend was born. But today is most special because today Rachael turns 30!!! I wanted to make sure all of her neighbors knew how old she is so I surprised her with balloons on the mailbox. So Happy Birthday Rachael and welcome to the 30 something club!
