This weekend

This weekend Patrick, Natalie and Emma Kate visited! We went to Hollywild on Saturday for Emma Kate and Adaline's first zoo experience! We had a great time! We fed lots of animals, even fed baby goats a bottle! Luke's favorite part was the "monkeys". They were pretty cool b/c they would clap and nod their head when they wanted you to throw a cracker to them and if we threw the craker short, they would use a stick to drag the cracker into their cages! Pretty smart! We also saw bears "wrestling"(insert imagination), a tiger and white tiger arguing through cages (the sounds were amazing!), a tiger that kept pretending to charge the cage (this scared a few of us and Patrick got it on video), a peacock show off his amazing feathers, a "zonkey"-zebra/donkey, and lots of other fun animals! THE ZONKEY!!

10 months old!

Henry was 10 months old on Monday! I can't believe we only have 2 more months until he turns 1!!! Time has flown by! This month, he continue to babble and try to participate in conversations. He says Hello and Hey. He waves bye, plays patti-cake and "so big". He is a speed crawler and still loves to walk with assistance. He pulls up and sits down with great ease and will side step along furniture. The picture below is of this past weekend in Aiken. Henry laying next to the beautiful Emma Kate. I wish I got a picture of Henry hugging and hugging her! It was so so sweet! He gives the best hugs! (Emma Kate is Patrick and Natalie's 12 week old incase you didn't know.)

Spring Break

The boys and I had a nice time together over our spring break. We had lots of outside time! Only 36 more school days and we are out for summer! Looking forward to my summer with my boys! Here are a few pictures of our time together.

Finally...

We had Henry's 9 month checkup (even though he will be 10 months next week)! Henry had a great checkup as usual. He weighs 26 lbs (99th percentile) and was 30.5 inches (95th percentile). Still a big big boy! He did have one shot but it wasn't too bad, just the Hep B. While waiting for the nurse to come back in and give the shot Luke and Henry decided it was snack time. Henry had an assortment of Puffs and Luke had goldfish. Until Luke decided he wanted some of Henry's Puffs and Henry wanted some of Luke's goldfish.

Hello

I am naming "Hello" Henry's offical first word. Of course he has said mommommomomm and daddaddadda but only during babbles. "Hello" is the first word he has offically used in context. And it is super fun and adorable. For example, we were in Hobby Lobby when the phone rang over the loud speaker...he stops, looks around very serious, and says "hello". He does the same thing when he hears any phone ringing! He has always been obsessed with my phone, infact I had to stop letting him hold my phone b/c my speaker stopped working for a good month b/c of "water damage". (aka-drool) The Easter bunny, and grand Easter bunny, and friend Easter bunny brought him a phone for Easter...now he has his own phone(s). Here he is talking on one of his phones!

First comes rain...then comes puddles!

What a better way to entertain a 3 year old boy than to let him loose in a mud puddle after a good thunder storm! He had such a good time! We went straight home to take a bath because he was so filthy when he was finished! (and to throw his entire out fit in the wash and to hose off his "bike" because of course he went off roading!)

On another note, we had a quick trip to the Dr today to have Luke's ears checked (to make sure ear infection from 2 weeks ago was clear-which it was) and we found out that Luke weighs 39 pounds and is 40.5 inches tall!
