2 year well check

Today LC had her we’ll check finally for her 2nd birthday. Dr. Song was pleased with her growth and continued social, emotional and physical development. Raising a girl has been different but so fun. We now play with babies and pretend to be mommy by rocking and giving baby kisses and hugs. I love it! Lola also loves having her nails painted. She is in mostly size 3t clothing and size 6/7 shoes. She has enough hair for pig tails now and I just can’t get enough of them. We sure love our girlie.

Stats: 31 pounds (86th %), 2'11" inches (79th %)

(Backup) 15 months

And she's 15 months. I decided to do the months headband this month because I haven't  done it since 12m. She such a cutie. Seems to enjoy the camera. :)
Dr. Nelson said she looks great at her appointment. She's grown 1 1/4 inches since her 12 months apt. And she has actually lost a few ounces. But only a few ounces and the doctor isn't concerned.  She still eats like a bird. And actually has decided to be a picky eater. So now its harder to feed everyone. Yes
Lola is still in the size 5 diaper and 18/24 months clothing. She still gets up about once a night for water and some cuddling. We are enjoying our summer together and I'm afraid august will be a hard transition for both of us.
She likes to climb on top of things and yell for "daaaa" to come rescue her off. Like the step still in the vstheriomnn.
Her favorite foods are taco meat, watermelon, shredded cheese, and snack foods.
She loves to play outside and continues to pick up sticks and rocks.
She says: bye, momma, dadda, look, hot, out, shakes her head no, signs "all done",
Her eyes light up and sparkle whenever the boys speak to her.

(Backup) 12 months

Lola Cate is ONE! Fastest year ever. Sweetest thing ever. This past year I have so much enjoyed discovering all the ways Lola is different then boy babies. It's been fun to see how she does things/acts in comparison to the boys.  She comes to me often to just to squeeze  my leg and give me a quick snuggle, the boys never did that! 😊
Lola has been walking for atleast a month.
She just moved to size 5 diapers
She's wearing size 18-24 months cloths but can still wear a 12m dress. Actually sometimes a 9 months dress too. I've learned girls clothing is sized differently then boys.
Her shoes size is a 4
She still eats like a bird. She prefers breast milk over anything, I feel like, but my body isn't cooperating well anymore. Soon my milk will be gone, unfortunately. I will continue to feed her as long as my body holds out.
She has whole milk with eat meal and drinks water throughout the day. She loves water.

11 months old

Lola Cate is 11 months old. Another month flew by. This month brought some changes for her! Biggest thing...she's walking!! She is actually really good at it. She's also eating more and more table food. Most recently she really likes broccoli and apples are her new favorite fruit. She loves taco meat and some chicken. She also loves her blueberry pancakes/waffles her Anny fixes her for breakfast.  She isn't a big eater but hopefully that will change soon. Lola loves water! She is waking earlier in the mornings  and not sleeping through the night. Most nights she gets up once. Some nights more. She's cutting molars now so I think that's part of it. She takes two naps during the week for Anny but I'm lucky to get one good one on the weekends. She waves bye. Gives wide open mouth slobbery kisses to mommy and her dolls. Loves baths. Enjoys chewing on nerf bullets. She barks every time she hears another dog bark, especially Eddie. And she also barks after Harley, our cat, meows. She loves her brothers, of course. Lola is such a girly girl. We say it all the time, she's so girly in her mannerisms and her voice. She squeals in excitement. She's Petite but not small. She loves to be "chased" by her brothers.
Currently she's in 12-18 month clothing-more so on the 18m side and can even fit into some of her 24 month things already.
She's in a size 4 diaper. Lola takes two bottles of breast milk during the day, about 6 oz each and breastfeeds before bed but my supply is quickly plummeting. I'm just trying to hold on long enough to make it to 12 months. Luckily I have a good back stock.
I can't believe I'm preparing for her 1 year old birthday already. It's exciting and sad at the same time. Enjoy some pictures from this month below. :)
Broccoli!

 Her first shiner. 😜

Back to school for Beau Philip and Lola Cate

Lola Cate and Beau Philip started school on August 15. They started the same day I started. We are super excited about Beau's year because he has one of our family's favorite teachers, Mrs. Julie. Luke had Mrs. Julie for 4k and Henry had Mrs. Julie for 3k. So Mrs. Julie now gets a turn with our Beau. I'm sure she will love him as much as she loves Luke and Henry. Beau adjusted back to school within two days time. In fact on day two, as I was talking to Mrs. Julie he interrupted me and said "You go home momma." Ha. Okay then. He also has many of his friends from his 2k class with him so that makes transitioning even better.

Lola Cate has two new teachers that we are looking forward to getting to know, Miss Marlee and Miss Isabelle. Both seem very nice and are enjoying our girl. Lola has been slow to settle in, being her first time in school, but she is beginning to come around.

You know I had to match them on their first day in school together. Actually I had to match them their first week! :) It was too much fun. I would match all of my children on a daily basis if I could. #momgoals

The first day

Today was the first day of my 14th year of teaching! Woah! More importantly, today was Beau Philip's first day of 3K and Lola Cate's first day of toddler class! Both beautiful children had a great day and both dropped off with hesitation but no tears! No tears, which means mommy didn't have tears! Yay!
Beau's teacher is Mrs. Julie and he has many friends in his class from last year. We know Mrs. Julie because she taught Luke 4K and Henry 3K! We are very excited to have her this year.  Lola Cate's teacher is Mrs. Isabella and Miss Marlee. These are new teachers for us but we are looking forward to developing new relationships with them and looking forward to Lola enjoying her first year at Simpsonville First Baptist CDC.

This was Beau as soon as I dropped him off. He just sat and watched, kinda pouting because I had left.

But then...I get this picture later from his teacher. A picture of him with many of his buddies, mostly from last year and now with him in his class again this year. So glad that worked out.

Lola Cate's teacher sent me this one when she was eating her morning snack. Such a big girl sitting at the table with her classmates!

Beau at recess on the big kid playground.

After we finally got home, reunited and it felt so good to mommy but she was all about playing with those brothers! She was so happy to be with them again.

The back of her dress. It was just so cute I had to take a picture. Love the smocked apple on the back.

Good Morning

They love their sister. When she wakes up in the morning they all say, "Can I go get Lola?!" So we share getting Lola, because momma wants to get her too. And she looks at each one of them as if they hung the moon. So I'd say, she loves them too. 💙

Sleeping isn't great. She wakes atleast once a night but occasionally surprises me and sleeps through the night. She does nap well.  No more 13 hour straight nights though.
Lola says a few words; dadda, momma, no, that, out, hot.
She points at things and loves to play chase or peepeye still. Picking up rocks and sticks in the yard seem to be fun too.
She loves those brothers of hers and has them wrapped around her fingers. Well, she has us all wrapped.
We are so thankful we were chosen to be her parents. She is the perfect ending to our beautiful family.

(Backup) Lola Cate's birthday party

I cannot believe I forgot to make a post on Lola Cate's first birthday party!
She had an adorable bunny themed birthday party that I had so much fun decorating for. I have a love of bunny rabbits so this was perfect for me. Also, her birthday was a week before Easter this year so she didn't have her first Easter until after her birthday.

She is so girly and we love it!

Almost all of the children.

Sweet Maxie Cate Laskis!

A little pin the tail on the bunny.

Her smash cake

Cupcakes for the kiddos and homemade coconut cake for the adults (it was so good!)

She loved the icing!
