Greenville Zoo

Luke loved his first trip to the Zoo! Our favorites were the two elephants and the two giraffe. Joy, the elephant, is the same elephant Thomas used to visit frequently on his trips to the zoo with his dad and grandfather when he was a child. It was neat to begin this tradition with Luke today. Now, Joy has a friend elephant that wasn't there when Thomas was a child. We took tons of pictures. Here are some for you to enjoy! Window watching

Luke has a new favorite trick! He loves watching Eddie on the back porch and he has started using his head or stomach as balance so he can go hands free standing up. So funny!

Clemson and Family-what a great combination

We had some family travel down from Maryland to tour Clemson this past weekend so Rachael, Luke, and I met them for dinner. This was the first time they got to meet Luke. To say the least Luke had a ball! He was so excited and happy to play with his cousins while we ate dinner. We all had a great time catching up! Next time, I will remember to wear something orange. I think we were the only ones without orange on!

Real Food

We are trying really hard to venture off the baby food aisle and introduce more table food to Luke. Today for lunch is the first time he ate "real" green beans. He had "real" bananas, pieces of "real" cheese and graham crackers with his green beans. He loved it and almost cleaned his plate. It was funny to see which food he would choose to eat first among the variety on his tray. He definately is a good eater! :)

Snowglobe

Aunt Rachael and Uncle Patrick gave Luke a snowglobe when he was baptized. He has discovered it!

New stroller

Thank you cousin Hudson for sharing your stroller with us! This stroller is much more fun to ride in!

Like Father Like Son

RJ

We got a text today saying little RJ has arrived. He is the son to one of Thomas's best friends! We can't wait for RJ to grow up so he can play with Luke! :) Congratulations Richard and Ashley! Looking forward to meeting RJ!

And we meet again

We went to Aiken this weekend for a friends wedding, while there, cousin Hudson and family made plans to come visit. This was the 2nd time we got to meet Hudson. We had a great time! Hudson is 3 months older than Luke and is walking and talking so it was fun to see what to expect in a few months! Luke turns 10 months tomorrow!!!!
