Henry's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Henry's 3rd birthday yesterday with family and friends. Lot's of fun was had! Thanks to all who were able to make it. It's always fun to watch the cousins play!

Thunder thighs

I can't get over these thighs. Almost 4 months old and growing so fast. My chunky baby. I just can't get enough of him. 

Landrum

It's summer time. Which means play dates! Our favorite play dates with cousins! The perks, we all get out of the house, cousins have great bonding times, Rachael and I get sister/adult time, and we wear the kids out for great afternoon naps!
Our first one, we met in Landrum for a park date. It was muddy and nasty from a rain the day before but the kids still had great fun! (Henry may or may not have lost a tennis shoe in a muddy mulched playground)

 Luke is so fast. I don't know a five year old that can run faster than him! Showing off his skills here.

 Adaline is really into Luke right now. I remember loving my older cousins too. She begged him long enough that he finally gave into holding her hand. It took a while but I think he secretly liked it.

 The youngest cousins (right now). Big boys chewing away on their hands. These two are going to be a mess together, only 19 days apart...

3 months old

Three months old already. There is no 3 month check up at the doctor so I don't have weight and length but I promise you he has grown. His thighs are enormous! ;)

This month brought:

Size 2 diapers

Sleeping a little more but some wake ups at night

Sleeps in pack n play for Anny during weekdays for naps but not in crib for mommy on weekends

Size 6 month clothes (some 9 months)

6 oz bottles 

Beautiful smiles and silent giggles

 reaching for things and sometimes grasping them! 

He is very intrigued by his feet! But not yet grabbing hold of them. 

The Bumbo! He wants to see everything! 

Big brothers playing with baby toys. 

Chewing on his hands! I'm wondering if he is teething...he is chewing in hands and has begun drooling...

Talking up a storm! He loves to talk and to be spoken to. 

Sweet outfit made by my mom. Love it!!!! Combines my obsession with monogram with times less smocking. 

4k

This handsome fella finished 4k last week. What a great year he had with Mrs. Julie and Mrs. Danielle. He met lots of new friends including two other Luke's in his class. I'm excited for him to move on to kindergarten this fall at my (our) school! 

Below are Luke's teachers. Ms. Danielle left and Mrs. Julie right. Really enjoyed them this year. A really good match for Luke's personality.

Strawberry picking

We went to Beechwood Farms for our first strawberry picking. We did great. The kids enjoyed picking (and eating). Hoping we go back next year. It was a good meeting point for the Angels and us. This year was a little chilly.
