My parents came to town to help during spring break and that's what got things moving. Grateful for help. I am so pleased with her nursery and cannot wait to see her in there with all of her beautiful things.
The big girl bed. Or whoever needs to use it bed. The bedding is just beautiful. It's crushed velvet in "blush" with a satin trim. Oh so girly. Above the bed on the big wall are two deer (you may have seen them in Beaus nursery) and two rabbits. And of course two bonnet holders. On the wall above the head of the bed are two hand painted ceramics done by my mother in law. But what's even more special is that she made them to be used in Thomas' nursery. She offered them to me to use this time, I love them!! I think it's just the perfect addition to her nursery. See a closer picture of them below.
Her crib. Beautiful. Dainty. Jenny lend. Very girly. The bedding is just beautiful but you can't tell from the picture. It's white with Ruffles around the edges and lined in a pink stitch. (From restoration hardware)
Above the crib is another special piece. It is a quote from the song daddy and I danced to at my wedding. I hope you dance by Leanne Womack. I typed this up. Had it printed. And then dad came to town to help me stain the rods and attach and hang. I think it's just perfect. Again, pictures don't do it justice.
Her monogram. You knew I had to add it. Enough said. (Never mind the clutter at the bottom of the picture, it will be gone soon.)
On the closet door is her coming home outfit. Made especially for our girl by my mom. Cannot wait to see her in a bonnet and frills! Mom did an amazing job. This will be treasured forever. The little green sign hanging on the door is something Thomas gave me when we found out we were expecting Luke. It says "shhh...baby dreaming". And there's her dresser, which used to be mine. Dad refinished if for us for Beau's room so we are using it again for Lola's room.
And then she has to have a bow holder for all of her bows. Which I will make sure she wears...I know, not likely, but I sure will try! Close up of bow holder below.
