A day in the life
Its a boy thing. They wanted some outdoors time. I tagged along for the family time. Not my cup of tea. But I enjoyed seeing them have fun.
Handsome
I can't help myself. Sometimes it's just so easy to pick out one outfit that's the same, in two sizes. And sometimes it's just cute.
So big
Can't believe this boy will be 5 in less than a month. I already see signs he is growing more mature. He helps when asked, instead of complaining, that's the biggest. He tries to play with Henry nicely or tries to make him happy if he is grumpy. I love hearing their giggles on the monitor when Luke wakes Henry up for me on school days when I am running behind. Luke will entertain Henry until I can get in there to help him out of his crib. And with that, Henry has started looking up to him so much. I kinda understand my "little" brothers infatuation when they were growing up with my "big" brother now. EVERYTHING Luke does or says, Henry does and says. Luckily Luke puts up with it. Because I am sure there will come a time when he will not. I love this big boy. Can't believe he has been on our lives for 5 years!
Baby it's cold outside
I've heard we are going to have a cold winter. Maybe snow this year. Maybe soon. Exciting. Just as long as February has good driving conditions...
Today Luke made his first request for hot chocolate. And we found a new kind this year, colorful marshmallows instead of the usual white ones. Yummy! I am sure we will have lots of this in the coming months. By the way, anyone ever see one of those mugs with "Henry" on it, pick it up for me please.
Happy Halloween 2013
Fireman and his dog. Although most thought his dog was a cow. Both had a blast. Henry is a little obsessed with candy. We had to hide it. :)
