Bowling

So much fun! We found free summer bowling for kids and we have been wanting to try bowling with Luke so this was the perfect opportunity! Luke loved it. Henry not so much. Luke did so well, bowling a strike and 2 spares! Pretty good for his first time. Enjoy the pictures of two of the cutest bowlers ever!

EB 2013

We had another great year at Edisto Beach with the whole fam! We missed having Thomas with us, he had to stay home to work. But we enjoyed our time with the rest of the family. Thanks to mom and dad for a fabulous time and thanks to everyone who helped me get through the week as a single parent. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the week.

Missing daddy

Luke really missed his daddy at the beach this year (beach post coming soon). He doesn't quite understand those feelings yet. After talking to Thomas mid week on the phone, he was sad and asked to go home. Then disappeared for 5 minutes and came back with this.
It's a picture of Luke and daddy. And we had to send daddy a picture of it. Luke carried it around for the rest of the day and slept with it that night.
The words say "Luke" and "daddy" I'm so proud of him for getting the L and D correct!!

A pig, a horse and a frog

On our way to the beach we stopped at the Columbiana mall. We met Rachael and Adaline there for lunch and to give the kids a stretch. And we rode the carousel. It was fun but man it went fast. Rachael and I were spinning by the time it stopped. Luke rode the pig, Henry the horse and Adaline rode the frog.

Fireflies!

We had to wait for the perfect night. It has rained so much that the fireflies haven't been able to come out every night. Luke was so excited and caught them so easily. I had to help Henry. We each caught 4 and then brought them inside in the dark to watch them. After about 10 minutes the boys decided they  wanted to let them go so they could live. I am sure we will be doing this again soon.

Pool

It is rare that Thomas goes to the pool with us...but we dragged him there this week. And he very much enjoyed himself! The boys loved having him there and showing off all the tricks they learned this summer so far.
