11.22.14

9 months old.
It's crazy how fast this has gone. The big brothers amaze me everyday with their love for Beau and the attention they give him so willingly. I'm so thankful for that. And of course Beau still adores them and watches them constantly. He lights up and grins from ear to ear when they speak to and play with him.
9 months fun facts:
23.9 pounds. 96th percentile
30 inches long. Again, 96th percentile
Head is 18.11 inches in circumference. 80th percentile. Beau has the smallest head out of all 3 boys!
Beau is crawling! He has toyed with it all month and finally on his 9 month celebration day he started to crawl. Thankfully he is still pretty slow but he caught on quickly and I'm sure he will be speedy in no time.
He has an amazing smile.
Babbles all the time.
Feeds snacks to himself.
Testing out real food. So far he has had small bites of carrots, corn, green beans, bananas, skinless grapes and cheese. I'm looking forward to introducing more and more.
Loves to clap.
Loves to dig through and empty a basket of toys.
Size 4 diapers
Size 12-18 (growing out of 12) clothes
Still takes 5 oz bottles (3 a day with Anny) (btw we pulled Beau out of daycare)
Still strictly breast fed with 3 meals a day.
Tries to pull up but gets to his knees and stops. He doesn't seem to have the desire to pull up to standing position. Perfectly happy on his knees.
Goes from sitting to crawling to sitting easily.
Still hasn't rolled over. Oh well.
2 naps a day.
Bedtime is 8 and he is usually up at 6. Occasionally I have to go in to give him a pacifier during the night.
He has had hives most of this month. And still has them. He is on a daily dose of Claritin. We still see hives but not as many. The doctor thinks it's okay. "Some babies just do this."
He has 4 teeth now. All four are on the bottom.
He crosses his ankles still.
When he first lays down to bed, he holds his legs up like the picture below. It's sweet.

11.4.14

Voting with the boys. I always try to take them with me so they can experience it. Unfortunately this year they weren't allowed to have stickers. 😒 which I thought wasn't cool. Maybe next year.

Carving

Our pumpkin carving 2014. Unfortunately Thomas was at work so it was me and my boys.
First we drew designs.

The we cut it out. And scooped it out.

Beau was intrigued.

The final results.

I think it turned out pretty cute!

Note to self

Beau has hives. We think it's from the congestion/cold that he has carried for two weeks at least. But it also could be a sign of an allergy to corn (I gave him two corn cernels Saturday and Sunday night.) or to new carpet (Rachael's house-I only wish for new carpet 😝) I feel so badly for him when the hives are active. As they begin to appear he becomes very agitated and itchy where the hives are. Then once the itching stops he stops itching. And they look awful. Below are some pictures. I promise the pictures don't do it justice. Hoping this will end soon. It's been off and on since Sunday.
On his face. Even in his ears.
Neck.
Legs.
Hands.
It's been everywhere on his body except his bottom. I just never know where it's going to show.

Pumpkin patch

We finally made it to the pumpkin patch today. Tomorrow we carve!

The outfit Beau has on was lukes, it says 2009 on it. 😊

Bath time with 3

I can't promise they got clean. But they did have fun.
This was Beau's first time in the bath with Luke and Henry.

They painted the baby. (We play with paint brushes in the bathtub.)

And they had Mohawks.
