1

We woke up Tuesday. Got ready for school. Went to put shoes on as we headed out the door and I hear. "Ow, these hurt". Luke had grown out of his shoes! Over night! They fit Monday but not Tuesday. And it wasn't just the one pair. It was all of his shoes! So an impromptu trip to the shoe store lead Luke straight to these beauties! And they are a size 1 wide! We completely skipped 13!
I have to admit, this is the first time I have "let" Luke pick out his own new shoes. But he did great! And blue is his favorite color. When he saw these he wouldn't even look at any other shoes. And guess what, they make him run faster. ;)

Daddy's day

Thomas took the boys on an adventure Saturday to spend some time with the boys outdoors and give me a break. Everyone had a grand time!

First day of school

What teacher wouldn't be excited to have these two in their class!

The first day was great! We just won't talk about the second day.

Breaking rules

Yoo-Hoo's (and Jimmy,s) house: where cousins go to become best friends.
Popsicles in your underwear.

Sprinkler, in the front yard, in your underwear.

Puddle jumping and splashing.

Walking the neighbors dog. Daily.

Who doesn't love Yoo-Hoo's house!!

4k

My biggest boy is officially grown up. We had to buy our first school supplies! Luke will begin 4k this year and although I am excited for him, it's a little sad at the same time. That was an emotional trip to Walmart!

It's official.

Summer is over. I can't believe it went by so fast. We stayed really busy with our many activities. I know I was bad about blogging this summer. So, here is a recap of our summer excitement.
Backyard bliss

Dollar movies, we even took Anny once.

EB

Twice, lucky us!

Ice cream

Many bike rides and walks.

More ice cream

Park(s)

Someone turned 2.

Lots of pool time.

Rock collecting

Puddle splashing. We had a lot of rain!

Snow cones

We even rode our first carousel.
And that's just to name a few of our activities.
Our summer was full. Full of fun! Now the boys are headed to their first year of full time school (really daycare but we prefer to call it school). Summer is officially over.

Bowling

So much fun! We found free summer bowling for kids and we have been wanting to try bowling with Luke so this was the perfect opportunity! Luke loved it. Henry not so much. Luke did so well, bowling a strike and 2 spares! Pretty good for his first time. Enjoy the pictures of two of the cutest bowlers ever!
Thomas giving the breakdown.
Proud and happy boys!
I mean how cute are these shoes!
Luke's strike!
