Counting sheep

Henry was never a good sleeper, until he turned 1. He was always the up ever hour kind of baby. I don't know how I was able to function back then when I got so little sleep but yet worked full time. Once he turned one he started sleeping through the night and it was wonderful!! Now however we seem to have reverted back to old habits.
Henry does not want to be in his bed, he wants to sleep in a real bed!! Although Henry had been trying to show me this for a while, I am just catching on. Tonight after another fit at bed time I decided to let him show me what he wanted. He took me into the hall, pointed to Luke's room. I took him into Luke's room and he
pointed to the bed. Point taken. He fell asleep within 5 minutes. This might be a one time thing or a done deal. Only time will tell. For now I will just have to close my eyes as I walk past his empty baby nursery! :*(

The pictures are of my boys in their matching twin beds.

Miss Priss

We got to have a little extra Adaline time last night! She spent the night with us, alone! Luke shared his room with her and I had a great time having another girl in the house! What a change for me!! Come back anytime Adaline! We loved having you!

Bath time with Adaline!

Racing with Adaline!

Church with Adaline!
Snuggles with Adaline!

Henry brushing Adaline's hair!

Are you done sleeping yet Adaline? I want to play with you!!

Mustache

Just a little fun with the fam!

Carlisle Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with the Carlisles this past weekend! It was fun to extend Christmas for a whole week! Each family member draws a name, adults for adults and kids for kids, and it is fun to see what each person gets! On top of that mom and dad served a delicious dinner and we finished the night by singing Happy Birthday to Thomas!! He turned 32 on Saturday! And of course there was a little game playing!

We started Thurday night at Hopelands Gardens! We love holiday lights!

The whole family, minus Thomas, made it! It looks like Patrick is wearing a crown in this picture but he isn't! Its Christmas lights in the background.

Let the presents begin!

Emma Kate! She will be 1 this month but is already walking!!
Tyler! He turned 2 in August and spent all of Saturday playing with us! Tyler loves his Luke!

Adaline, or what most of us call her, Miss A. What a priss!
All the kids! So hard to get a good picture right now! But the memories are still there!

Happy Birthday to Thomas!

Hollywild

This is a family tradition!! The animals here are just too fun to pass up each year! They come to your car and put their entire head in the window to eat the snacks you give them. Last year Luke was terrified and Henry was too little to know what was going on. This year Luke tolerated it and Henry laughed at the enormous animals in his face! So much fun!
I am sorry for the picture quality but it was dark and I was only using my cell phone.

Reindeer! However they were not interested in eating what we had.

We fed a zebra and a "zonkey"!

This is an awful picture but shows how huge the cows are! All the cows stood taller than my Xterra and had no problem sticking their large heads in our windows to eat!

Monsters Inc. 3D

What fun! Luke and I went on a movie date today and saw this movie! It was great!! He really enjoyed it! At first he didn't want to wear his glasses but he agreed to try them and loved them!

Excited for the movie to start!!

Rockin' my 3D glasses!

Very into the movie, actually the movie hadn't even started yet, it was still the previews!!

Finally talked him into wearing his glasses! He didn't take them off again. (And took them to bed with him!)

Awesome date with my Luke! As we were pulling away he said, "Momma next time I want to see that movie again!" Thats a sure sign he had fun!

Singing in the rain!

Well not exactly singing in the rain, splashing in some puddles is more like it! We were glad to have a rainy day so we could try out our new rain boots and umbrella!!
